Mixtape #1
I wanted to compile a list of songs that I love to listen to while gaming. Since the rules of the mix tape say it should be no longer than 60 minutes (the standard size of the old cassette tapes) I agonized over what I was going to include. While none of these songs are related to WoW in any way (I will post a mix tape for that in the future, promise), they do relate to a rhythm while I play. I love to find new music out there I’ve never heard, or long forgot about, what are your essential gaming songs?
And now for the music!
Firefox users: I am REALLY sorry guys. If you haven’t yet discovered, Mozilla is no longer standing behind their browser, preferring to fall back on being a non-profit organization. What this means is that most flash content is not working properly, or intermittent at best. If you can’t see the videos, I included links to open them in new tabs, or just reload the site in another browser and it should be fine….
1. Skullcrusher Mountain by Jonathan Coulton
3. Memories by David Guetta FT. Kid Cudi
4. Battle For The Beat by District 78
6. Pumped Up Kicks by Foster The People
8. 300 Violin Orchestra by Jorge Quintero
13. Talk That Talk by Rihanna ft Jay-Z
Unfortunately Tinie Tempah has made it so his video is only viewable on youtube, but the link will open a tab for you.
